Moon Eluvangal has 17 years of experience in Power, Oil & Gas, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Mining, IoT and other Critical Infrastructure Industry. In-depth knowledge of ICS, SCADA, PCN networks, architecture and cybersecurity. Hands-on experience in cybersecurity assessment, security design & implementation and operationalization for Industrial Automation & Control Systems (IACS). He is a SANS GIAC GICSP Certified Industrial Control System cybersecurity professional.

Moon had earlier worked as Firmware Engineer, Architect and Technical Manager in ICS product development R&D. His role was primarily to develop CPU modules, protocol stacks, logic execution module, IO modules in ICS products.

Dr Vikram Venkateswara is a doctor turned technologist. He is the founder and editor of Healthcare India, a research and analysis think tank that works in the public health space. Dr Vikram has been recognised as among the top 50 healthcare strategists to follow in 2021 by Medgate India. Last year he released his debut book, “Own Your Health”.
Dr. Mike Bartley
Dr. Mike Bartley

Senior Vice President – VLSI, Tessolve, UK

Dr. Mike Bartley has over 30 years of experience in software testing and hardware verification. He has built and managed state-of-the-art test and verification teams inside a number of companies (including STMicroelectronics, Infineon, Panasonic and start-up ClearSpeed) and also advised a number of companies on organizational verification strategies (ARM, NXP and multiple start-ups). Mike successfully founded and grew a software test and hardware verification services company to 450+ engineers globally, delivering services and solutions to over 50+ clients in wide range of technologies and industries. The company was acquired by Tessolve semiconductors, a global company with 2800+ employees supporting clients in VLSI, silicon test and qualification, PCB and embedded product development in multiple vertical industries. Mike, recognized as a global thought leader in design verification, is now responsible for the “Centre of Excellence” at Tessolve, ensuring they have the capabilities and resources needed for the increasing pace of change in client and industry technologies and development flows. Mike also works closely with clients to understand their requirements and develop solutions to help them create successful, innovative products.

Mike has a PhD in Mathematics from Bristol University; an MSc in Software Engineering and an MBA from the Open University; an MSc in Computer Security from the University of London; and an MSc in Intelligent Systems & Robotics from De Montfort University. Mike is also studying for an MSc in Data Science and High-Performance Computing at Edinburgh University and an MSc in International Finance and Strategy at the University of Salford. He also chairs the Computer Science Industrial Advisory Board at Bristol University and is a founder and trustee for a UK charity to encourage children into careers in computing.

Dr. Yogananda Jeppu
Dr. Yogananda Jeppu

Fellow, Honeywell

Dr. Yogananda Jeppu is a Fellow at Honeywell Aerospace. He has over 32 years of experience in the field of Control System Design and Implementation, Simulation of Aerospace Systems, Verification and Validation of safety critical systems. He is a BE in Electronics and Communication, from Mangalore University, and a Post Graduate in Missile Guidance and Controls from Pune University. He has a PhD in Certification of Safety Critical Control Systems using Model Based Techniques from IIT Bombay. He has several publications on Formal Methods, Randomized Testing, Orthogonal Array Testing, Model Based Systems Engineering, Missile Guidance and Control and Teaching. He has been awarded US patents for innovations in UAV and Radar. He has been awarded for his contributions to the Indian LCA Flight Controls program and the Indian Integrated Guided Missiles Program. He has a mention in the Limca book of Records for his hobby – philately.

He started his career in 1987, working on Missiles and Indian LCA program with Defense R&D Organization. He is also an adjunct faculty at NITK Surathkal and MIT Manipal.

Dr. Marcel Beemster

Marcel Beemster is 25+ years professional of compiler technology with a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Amsterdam where he also worked as an assistant professor. From 1999 he was a senior software engineer at ACE to manage a wide range of compiler development projects. Since early 2013, his focus shifted to the support, maintenance and development of the SuperTest compiler test and validation suite for C and C++. Marcel co-founded Solid Sands in 2014 in order to put his full attention to compiler validation and its application in safety-critical application development.

Dr. Marcel Beemster is a former assistant professor at the University of Amsterdam with excellent teaching skills. He has presented at international scientific conferences and at industry oriented events.

Colonel (Dr) Inderjeet Singh
Colonel (Dr) Inderjeet Singh

Chief Cyber Security Officer, Vara Technology, India

Colonel Inderjeet Singh is the Chief Cyber Security Officer and Head of the Cyber Security Center of Excellence at Vara Technology. He is working on the disruptive technologies in Cyber Security Space for securing IT networks, Smart cities, and Critical Information Infrastructure.

He served in the Indian Armed Forces, is an Alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and Symbiosis Institute of Management, Pune. He is Doctorate of Science in Cyber Security from Logos International University, Florida. He is an experienced Information Systems professional with experience of more than 30+ years across a wide spectrum of areas spanning cybersecurity operations leadership and influencing policy level decisions in multiple organizations. He is a Subject Matter Expert on the latest Disruptive Technologies and has consistently delivered mission-critical results in the field of Cyber Warfare, Cyber Forensics, Darknet and Crypto Forensics, Blockchain and Data Science.

Head, Cybersecurity Solutions – Mobility, ETAS, India

Khushwant heads ‘ESCRYPT’, the leading automotive cybersecurity brand at ETAS India. Since 2016, Khushwant is spearheading Automotive Cybersecurity awareness in India. He has been working closely with Indian as well as Global OEMs and Tier-1s to help them in addressing future challenges of Automotive Cybersecurity in the evolving connected vehicles market. Khushwant has delivered several talks on the subject and is regularly invited as a panellist in several prominent industry events.

Khushwant started his career at France Telecom, Sophia Antipolis France, on a business consulting assignment following management education in 2005. He joined Patni Computer Systems, Mumbai, India as associate consultant for product engineering services division. In 2009, he moved to Patni Computer Systems, London, UK and managed embedded solutions clients in Europe. Khushwant has worked closely with organizations from EMEA region during his association with Patni. Later he moved to Pune, India and joined ETAS India in 2013.

Dr. Juhi Ranjan is a Group Product Manager at Real-Time Innovations leading the flagship products Connext Professional and onnext Anywhere. Prior to her role in product management, Juhi was a Computer Scientist at RTI looking to push the bounds of IoT connectivity solutions.

Juhi Ranjan was a professor of Computer Science at IIIT Delhi, where she developed 37 IoT prototypes with students and 4 assistive technology products and received ‘Teaching Excellence Award’ in her first semester as a professor. Juhi has a PhD in Computer Science from University of Virginia. Her Ph.D. research focused on developing technology for Smart Homes to identify occupants, activities, and individual resource usage. Juhi has won several commendations for her research including the prestigious National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program in 2013, and the Outstanding Graduate Research Award by the Dept. of Computer Science at Univ. of Virginia in 2016.

Darren Porras is the Market Development Manager for Healthcare at Real-Time Innovations (RTI). Darren has over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry and product development. Prior to joining RTI, Darren was a program manager at Medtronic for Surgical Robotics. Darren has also held program management and software development roles at Philips and Integra Radionics spanning medical imaging, image-guided surgery, and cybersecurity.

Darren has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Duke University and Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Alabama-Birmingham.

Gary Gilliland is a Technical Marketing Manager at DDC-I, where he is responsible for technical marketing functions with an emphasis on the DO-178C safety-critical Deos real-time operating system. He has over 20 years of experience in development and marketing of hardware and software solutions for embedded systems. He has extensive experience with military and commercial avionics and real-time operating systems. Gary is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, where he earned a degree in Electrical Engineering.

Deepu Chandran is a graduate of the Visvesvaraya Technological University. He is an ISO 26262 CFSP (Certified Functional Safety Professional) and a Level 1 “Functional Safety Certified Professional” in accordance with IEC 61508/IEC 61511 with experience in aerospace, automotive and industrial domains. His research work focuses on embedded system security. He has spent more than 13 years supporting clients in selecting, integrating, and maintaining embedded systems throughout the development lifecycle. Deepu is currently working as a Sr. Technical Manager with LDRA’s India office.

Technologist, Dell Technologies, India

Mini TT works with Dell Technologies, Bangalore, in the domain of embedded system security. Prior to this, she has worked in research and development with Philips and ABB producing innovative products, publications, and patents. She has experience in defence, semiconductors, consumer electronics, substation automation and industrial measurements. She had started her career with Bharat Electronics developing command and control systems for Indian Defence. Her specialization is in cybersecurity, embedded systems, and system architecture. She holds an MTech in Embedded Systems from BITS Pilani, and a degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Kerala. Currently she is pursuing her PhD in embedded system security.

Mark Roboff is CEO of SkyThread.aero, a new venture building the future of digital connectivity for the aviation industry. Previously, Mark was General Manager for Digital Transformation, Aerospace & Defense at DXC and prior to that, he served as Global Solutions Leader, Aerospace and Defense (A&D,) at IBM.

Mark has over 15 years’ experience in aviation digital transformation—both as a software engineer and as a business and technology executive. Mark is a recognized thought leader on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning as well as MRO data, processes, and analytics. Mark has worked on and contributed to many of the industry’s largest digital MRO platforms, and he has also worked with dozens of airlines across the globe on prognostics, predictive maintenance, and the optimization of maintenance execution.

Mark is also the chair of the SAE-G34/EUROCAE WG-114 Joint International Committee for AI in Aviation, and is leading 500+ aerospace engineers, software developers, data scientists, safety experts, and regulators to define a means of compliance for AI certification. Mark is also a voting member on the SAE G-31 Electronic Data Transactions committee, the S-18 System Safety committee, the Digital and Data Steering Committee, and is also a member of the Prognostics and Health Management (PHM) Society.

In addition to the above, Mark is host of the new aviation technology podcast “Future Flying” (available on all major podcast streaming platforms,) which explores how new technologies will disrupt and transform aviation and its impact on society.

She has designed both hardware and software for embedded systems for various end markets, including medical, industrial, automotive and networking. One of her career highlights was a role as Principal Engineer for the design of a class 2 medical device, which achieved both FDA clearance for sale in the USA and TÜV certification for worldwide sales. Her technical interests include Digital Signal Processing, Computer Vision and Machine Learning in Safety Critical applications.

He has been involved with MISRA since 2001 and is currently chairman of the MISRA C++ working group and an active member of the MISRA C working group. He has been with LDRA since 2007, where he specialises in programming standards.

Andrew Banks is a Technical Specialist at LDRA with more than 30 years’ experience of high-integrity real-time/embedded software development.

A Chartered Fellow of the British Computer Society, he graduated from the University of Lancaster in 1989, and has spent most of his career within the aerospace, defence, and automotive sectors.

Andrew is committed to standards development – he has been involved with MISRA since 2007 and has been Chairman of the MISRA C Working Group since early 2013; he is the Chairman of the BSI “Software Testing” Working Group; and an active participant in other BSI, ISO, IET and SCSC work, including the recent revision of ISO 26262.

Mark Pitchford has over 30 years’ experience in software development for engineering applications. He has worked on many significant industrial and commercial projects in development and management, both in the UK and internationally. Since 2001, he has worked with development teams looking to achieve compliant software development in safety and security-critical environments, working with standards such as DO-178, IEC 61508, ISO 26262, IIRA and RAMI 4.0.

Mark earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Nottingham Trent University, and he became a Chartered Engineer over 30 years ago. He now works as a Technical Specialist with LDRA Software Technology.

Senior Application Engineer, Ansys

Madhu has over 12 years of experience in Control System Design, Embedded Software Development, Model-Based Design & Functional Safety. He is a certified functional safety engineer and has wide experience in Automotive ECU software development. He is currently handling Functional Safety and Embedded software development at Ansys.

Before joining Ansys, he worked with ETAS Automotive as a subject matter expert in ECU software development tools, AUTOSAR, Virtualization & Functional Safety.

He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree with a specialization in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from JNTU Hyderabad.

Jay Thomas is Director, Field Engineering for LDRA Technology. His career has focused on building and maintaining safety and mission-critical software. This includes software in aerospace – such as aircraft, spacecraft and launch vehicles, as well as applying best practices across domains into industrial control and automobiles. He was also one of the early employees at SpaceX and wrote flight software for the Falcon launch vehicle – currently the safest way to orbit. He focuses on implementing embedded verification practices with LDRA’s customers worldwide.

Shinto Joseph is currently working as Director – Southeast Asia Operations at LDRA, India. With over 24 years of experience in handling Embedded Software Life Cycle solutions, he has built many teams and companies in the embedded systems field. Working with cross-border delivery teams, technology partners and industry regulators in the defence, aerospace, automotive, industrial, medical, rail and nuclear sectors are his unique advantage. Today he concentrates on creating a healthy ecosystem in the mission, security and safety-critical systems domain in Southeast Asia.

After 23 years as a professor at the University of Liverpool, Prof. Mike Hennell founded LDRA and was the principal architect of the LDRA tool suite. He continues guiding the development of LDRA technology in his current position as Managing Director. Mike actively participates on both the MISRA C and C++ committees as well as the international committee developing and promoting the new avionics software standard, DO-178C. Mike has committed more than 45 years to developing and promoting cutting-edge software testing and development processes to enhance software quality and reliability.
