S Karthikeyan is the Group Director systems in CEMILAC from 2014 and coordinating with various DRDO Labs, PSUs and Private industries for certification of EW & Radar programmes, UAV, AEW&C etc.
Karthikeyan started his career as Electrical Engineer in Ashok Leyland. He joined DRDO in 1986 and posted to RCMA, Hyderabad as Scientist – B. During his tenure at RCMA, Hyderabad he involved in airworthiness certification of several avionics systems like Weather Radar, Radio Altimeter, engine Control Amplifier, Control and Communication systems for LCA, ALH, HJT etc. He also involved in various avionics upgrade programs for MiG21, MiG27, Jaguar, SU-30 and other Indian naval aircrafts. He was heading RCMA Hyderabad as Regional Director from 2008 to 2014 and managed Airworthiness certification of avionics for EW programs for Naval aircrafts, Boeing P8-I, AEW&C and RUSTUM-II, missile systems etc.
Karthikeyan is an Electronics and Communication Engineering from Guindy Engineering College Chennai and obtained M.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering with Digital Signal Processing specialization at IIT Kanpur in year 1993.
Commodore SS Vombatkere, Director

Commodore SS Vombatkere joined the Electrical Branch of the Indian Navy in 1987 after graduating in Electrical Engineering from IIT Madras. A post graduate in Computer Science from IIT Bombay he has been actively associated with various academic and technology initiatives of the Indian Navy for over 25 years in the areas of Software Development, Information Security, Embedded Systems, and Reliability & Maintainability. He also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, and has over the years been a member of various expert committees and Project Steering & Review Groups for Information Security in the Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Communications & IT.
In his 28-year naval career, he has served on board various warships, in naval dockyards, naval training schools and at Naval Headquarters. He is a hands-on engineer and spent his early years in the Navy developing software for the Navy, for which he was awarded the Naosena (Navy) Medal by the President of India in 1998. Subsequently, during his 6-year assignment at the Weapons & Electronic Systems Engineering Establishment, Delhi (WESEE) at Delhi, as Systems Manager & later Head of the Information Security Group, he was one of the pioneers in the development information security solutions for the Navy. This was followed by a 3-year appointment as Director of the Software Engineering Group at Mumbai, the Indian Navy’s nodal agency for Embedded Systems support. He is presently the Director of the Naval Technical Group at Bangalore that is responsible for Reliability & Maintainability studies and Life Cycle Support of indigenously developed Electrical, Communication, Electronic Warfare, and Weapon & Sensor networks and systems.
His areas of interest include Indigenisation & Sustainable Technologies, System & Process analysis and Technology Insertion.
Anand Deshpande, Deputy Director, Head of Automotive Electronics Department

Anand Deshpande is a graduate of Electronics & Telecom Engineering of Pune University in 1992 and has been a part of Automotive Research Association of India, Pune since August 1992. He is currently working as Deputy Director and Head of Automotive Electronics Department and Information Technology Management Group of ARAI. Responsible for development and evaluation of automotive electronic embedded systems for EMI/EMC, environmental conditions, performance etc.
Anand has worked on development of first prototype of electronic engine management system for passenger car in 1992-93 and on development of number of test instrumentation development systems/software for automotive industry. He has also led establishment of state-of-art EMI/EMC test facility and evaluation test facility for automotive electronic systems at ARAI.

NN Murthy come with 41 years’ experience in Avionics System, Embedded Systems, Safety & Flight Critical Software Development, Flight Test Instrumentation. He holds a M. Tech in Electronics Design Technology from IISc. Bangalore and M.Sc (Engg) in Physics from Regional Engg. College (now NIT), Bhopal.
NN Murthy started his career in 1976 as a CSIR Junior Research Fellow at National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL) and became the Deputy Director/Head, Aerospace Electronics & Systems Division, NAL & Associate Project Director, SARAS Aircraft Program from Jan 2002 to Oct 2004. He was the Director/Business Domain Lead at Honeywell Technology Solutions, from Oct 2004 to March 2009 and Indian Civil Aviation Authority (DGCA) approved Chief of Design.
He has more than 35 publication in his name and has received numerous awards like, 1st Flight Lt. Tanmaya Singh Dandas Memorial Gold Medal Award instituted by Institution of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers for significant contribution in the field of Avionics, NAL Technology shield during the year 2004, Leadership Excellence Award at Honeywell for the year 2008 to name a few.

Dr. Yogananda Jeppu holds a BE in Electronics and Communication, from Mangalore University, a Post Graduate in Missile Guidance and Controls from Pune University. He has a PhD in Reliability from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. He started his career in 1987, working on Missiles and Indian LCA programme with Defense R&D Organization. He is currently working in Moog India Technology Center, Bangalore as a Member Technical Staff and Head - R & D – Systems.
Dr. Yogananda Jeppu has been working in the field of Control System Design and Implementation, Simulation of Aerospace Systems, Verification and Validation for aircrafts and missiles for the past 28 years. He has several publications on Randomized Testing, Orthogonal Array Testing and Missile Guidance and Control. He has a US patent for “Software License Independent Image Generation” and is also recipient of many awards notable are the Commendation Certificate for “Significant Contributions made to the Integrated Guided Missiles Programme”, and the “National Aerospace Laboratories Technology Shield for Outstanding Achievement in LCA Control Law Design, Certification and Successful Flight Tests”.

Sanjay Gupta joined Motorola / Freescale in 1996 and has had work assignments in the Wireless business, Digital Networking and currently in the Automotive & Industrial MCU organizations. Sanjay is amongst India Board of Directors and a focal point for IESA from Freescale India.
Sanjay has grown his organization into the largest Design Center for Automotive MCU R&D with more than 340 engineers. He has successfully implemented biggest SoC Design team for Automotive Group along with global consolidated functions for Digital IP, Analog IP, Analog-Mixed Signal Architectural Signoff, Pre-Silicon Emulation and Silicon Validation which support all four Automotive MCU Design Centers.
Sanjay earned his bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Electronics and Communication, and his MBA from the Indian School of Business.

Mike Bartley has a PhD in Mathematics from Bristol University, an MSc in Software Engineering and an MBA from the Open University, and over 25 years of experience in software testing and hardware verification. He has built and managed state-of-the-art test and verification teams in a number of companies (including STMicroelectronics, Infineon and Elixent/Panasonic) who still use the methodologies he established. Since founding TVS he has consulted on multiple verification projects for respected organisations including ARM and Infineon.
Dr. Bartley was formerly Chairman for ten years of the Bristol branch of the British Computer Society and is currently Chairman of the Bristol Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and is a Technical Advisor to the National Microelectronics Institute (NMI). He has had over 20 articles published on the subject of verification and outsourcing.

Manju Nanda come with 18+ years of experience in design, development and qualification of safety critical embedded systems. Have developed core competency in the field of software engineering and embedded systems for safety critical applications. She is honoured with organizational award for Woman Scientist for the year 2014 and has been a part of establishment of the Special Interest Group (SIG) for Formal Methods. She has 17 Papers published in National & International conferences.

He holds a U.S. patent for a portable storage system and is inventor of a patent-pending embedded requirements verification system. Bill’s leadership was instrumental in adapting requirements traceability into LDRA’s verification process.
Mark Richardson, Lead Field Application Engineer,
Mark Richardson has over 30 years of experience in the development of real-time embedded software in C, C++ and Java. He is currently working for LDRA, where he is a Field Application Engineer working in close collaboration with LDRA’s numerous distributors. Prior to joining LDRA, Mark was the lead application engineer for IBM Rational Rhapsody and has over 12 years of experience using UML on embedded projects.
He has lived in the UK, France and the USA, working on a variety of embedded projects and is currently living in the UK.
Pierre Vincent - Technical Consultant

Pierre Vincent started his job at Esterel Technologies as R&D Engineer, in the year 2000. In 2005, he became the Technical Consultant in charge of supporting customers in the development and verification of their software application with Esterel SCADE products. During this period, he provided methodological & certification support including the development of Certification Plans & process guidelines for several companies in various domains (Aerospace: DO-718B, Rail: EN 50128, Nuclear: IEC 61508/IEC 60880).
Between 2009 and 2011, he was the Project Manager for the development of an Aircraft Navigation Application (DO-178B level A) for a French company. Since 2012, he is a member of Esterel-Technologies Safety Team where he contributes to the management of SCADE products safety, prepares adoption of new certification standards within the company and provides safety field support.
Prior to joining Esterel, Pierre Vincent was an Airbus subcontractor in a French Services Company. He was the Chief Investigator of sponsored projects from Ministry of Information Technology, Govt. of India and CSIR on Cyber Security. He is also actively involved in a 5 year-long project on Cyber Security Research and Observation (CySeRO) under the CSIR 12th Five Year Plan.
