Hema Malini

Ms. Hema Malini Nadipi is the Deputy General Manager at Electronics Corporation of India Ltd. (ECIL), Hyderabad, with over 25 years of experience in research, development, and industrial automation. She holds a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering, Tirupati, and an M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from JNTUH, Hyderabad. She is currently pursuing the Senior Management Program (SMP) at IIM Kozhikode.
 
She joined ECIL in 2000 as a Graduate Engineer Trainee and began her career contributing to strategic national projects, including Parliament Security and Access Control Systems. She later moved into the Control & Automation Group, where she played a key role in developing indigenous Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Data Acquisition Systems (DAQs), and Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) for critical sectors.
 
One of her notable achievements includes contributing to the development of a high-speed PLC system for the ISRO Propulsion Complex, Mahendragiri. Her expertise spans real-time control systems, embedded technologies, functional safety, industrial cybersecurity, and international standards compliance. She is a strong advocate for indigenous technology development, supporting India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India initiatives.
