Virtual Speaker Guidelines: Embedded Safety & Security Summit 2022

We are excited to welcome you as a speaker for EMBEDDED SAFETY & SECURITY SUMMIT 2022. The event will take place virtually on Wednesday, June 15, from 11:30 to 17:30 (India, UTC+5:30).

  • Session Title and Abstract Confirmation: April 30
    • Abstract – 100 words maximum
  • Presentation slides to be shared for approval: May 10
    • Presentation – 25 slides maximum
  • Pre-Recording of the session: May 17 to May 28

All track sessions are for thirty (30) minutes which includes (5) minutes for live Q&A. Please confirm your timing on the agenda.

Platform & Specifications

The event will be hosted on a virtual platform that allows speakers to deliver content via pre-recorded talks and join for interactive text chat with attendees while their recording is played, followed by a live video Q&A.

The virtual platform allows lots of networking opportunity for the attendees and speakers with chat room features allowing 1:1 chat and group chat. We think these features can bring in the value of a face-to-face interaction experienced in a physical event.

Presentation Best Practices

The presentation should be in the widescreen (16:9) format.

We recommend you include the event logo in your presentation. Click to download ESSS 2022 logo.

Being a technical conference with a serious technical audience, we request you to refrain from commercialising the session. You may add two slides about your company, product and services towards the end of your session. This approach has helped us build this conference platform, with the right audience, over the last 5 years.

Pre-recording Information

All track speakers will need to pre-record their sessions. As the session ends, the speaker can join the video live for Q&A with attendees for an additional 5 minutes.

Our virtual platform vendor will be coordinating with you to get the recordings done. The recording should show your slides/screen while presenting in a picture in picture style format.

Live Q&A

To create more of an ‘event’ experience and add value to attendees, we are requesting all speakers to be available for a live chat while their recording is played, followed by live video Q&A, all within the platform. Attendees will ask questions via the chat window and Q&A area in each session window, and you will have 5 minutes immediately following your presentation for live video Q&A.
