After 23 years as a professor at the University of Liverpool Dr. Mike Hennell founded LDRA and was the principal architect of the LDRA tool suite. He continues guiding the development of LDRA technology in his current position as Technical Director. Mike actively participates on both the MISRA C and C++ committees as well as the international committee developing and promoting the new avionics software standard, DO-178C. Mike has committed more than 40 years to developing and promoting cutting-edge software testing and development processes to enhance software quality and reliability.

Apurbo Kirty is Associate Chief Eng- Electrical & Electronics at Research and Development Center, Mahindra & Mahindra. He is having 23 yrs vast experience in Auto Electricals & Electronics, He was the core member team for Xylo (MUV) vehicle platform for Electrical and Electronics and well-known personality in Auto electrical fertility in India. He was the core team member of various innovation products like micro hybrid technology, MVAC (Mahindra voice activated controls) etc. which is demonstrating Frugal Engineering. Presently he is handling Various projects for new vehicle variants and new vehicle platforms. He is also member of various Technical committee in India.

Chris Tapp is a Technical Consultant at LDRA with more than 20 years’ experience in embedded software development. He graduated from the University of Durham in 1987 and has spent most of his career working within the automotive, industrial control and information technology industries, mainly as a self-employed consultant. He has been involved with MISRA since 2001 and is currently Chairman of the MISRA C++ working group and an active member of the MISRA C working group. He has been with LDRA since 2007, where he specialises in programming standards.
Sanjay Gupta

Vice President & India Country Manager,

Sanjay Gupta is the Vice President and India Country Manager at NXP India Pvt. Ltd. and leads the organization’s business in India while ensuring local compliance with both, government and corporate programs & policies. He is also spearheading three diverse R&D locations (Noida, Bangalore and Hyderabad) comprising nearly 1,800 employees and representing all NXP product groups.
Additionally, Sanjay is the Automotive Business Unit lead for NXP India and Chairs the Innovation board across global organizational units.
Sanjay started his professional journey with Motorola in 1996 and has worked on several assignments in the Wireless business, Digital Networking, Industrial MCU and automotive organizations. He holds multiple U.S. patents and numerous technical publications in the areas of semiconductors and embedded product development.
Sanjay has earned an engineering degree in electronics and communication from Delhi College of Engineering, and his MBA from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.

Manish Karle comes with 14+ years of experience in the field of Automotive Electric & Electronics controls development & implementation. His area of expertise involves test instrumentation development, ISO 26262 and ADAS development. Has worked on innovative and indigenous control implementation and solutions such as cost-effective FI for small vehicles, India OBD implementation for an OE and on areas of “functional safety improvements for E/E subsystems”.

Eric Schacherer has 35 years of professional experience in the Software and Computer Industry. He joined Green Hills Software in 1994 where he’s currently working as Sales Director covering Southern Europe and India. Prior to this he has served in various capacities as a leader in software development and sales fields for Apollo Computer and Alliant Computer Systems Corporation. Mr Schacherer holds an Engineering degree in Computer Science from UTC and a MBA from Cornell University.
Athif Allam

Senior Technical Manager – LDRA Certification Services, LDRA India

Athif comes with 20 years of experience in Embedded System Development across Défense,  Semiconductor, Automotive and Consumer electronics industry segments. His experience comprises of technical program management, system integration and leading delivery engagements across global and Indian customers. He has developed robust strategies and execution plans to best service the customers through the near and off-shore model.
Successfully built and led teams of embedded engineers and managers by setting up multiple ODC’s and successfully executing programs for leading top tier customers. He was responsible for setting up the D0178B process and manage the composite team in implementing safety/mission critical systems. Also has played a key role in defining processes and putting in place best practices contributing significantly to achieving ISO9001:2008certification and SEI CMMI level 3 assessment. An enterprising leader with excellent people management skills that have been honed through managing multi-skilled teams.
Has worked earlier with KPIT Technologies, Mistral Solutions Pvt. Ltd (Founding Member) and Cranes software Pvt. Ltd.

Before joining Green Hills Software, Serge has over 25 years of embedded experience in software and semiconductor companies and has held a variety of roles in software development and field engineering. His experience covers multiple operating systems, device driver development and operating systems port.

Raghavendra Bhat is a Technical Consultant for India, South and Middle East Asia at ANSYS.
Prior to ANSYS, he has worked for Esterel, IBM, Telelogic etc. and has 18 years of professional experience. He has experience with Software Development LifeCycle including Requirements Management, Software Configuration Management, Model Based design and development of Safety Critical, Embedded Real Time Systems and Testing.
He has a master’s degree in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, BE in Electronics and Communications from VTU and a Diploma in Electronics. He is also an OMG Certified UML and SysML professional and TUV SuD certified functional safety engineer.

Priyasloka Arya has 16 years of professional experience in Defence and Aerospace domain.  Currently he is working with LDRA as Senior Technical Manager- Certification Services. He has served Honeywell and Defence Research Development Organization (DRDO) in various capacities as a leader as well as an individual contributor.
Arya has Bachelor of Engineering (In Electronics Engineering) degree from NIT (National Institute of Technology), Jamshedpur and MBA in International Business from ICFAI, Hyderabad. Arya is PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, Six Sigma Black Belt, AS9100 (Internal Auditor), CPRE(IREB), ISTQB and ASEP (INCOSE) certified professional. 
Arya has worked closely in Avionics, Missile Telemetry and Embedded domains and his experiences lie in requirements engineering, system design, safety assessment, software development, test environment development, test procedure development and avionics certification processes.
Arya has worked as certification specialist In Honeywell with delegation to approve airborne software (complying to DO-178B/C, DO-297, DO-330, DO-332) of various Communication, Navigation and Surveillance projects. Arya has worked system certification (complying to ARP-4754A) as a candidate certification specialist.
Arya has keen interests in agile project management, cyber security, HAM radio (licensed operator), Internet of Things (IoT), RF communication, software defined radio and experimental hobby electronics.

Vishal Sen Gupta is working as a R&D Operations Manager in Valeo India Pvt Ltd. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Technology (B.Tech) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from IIT Guwahati. He has over 16 years of experience in multiple blue-chip companies including Samsung, Tektronix, Motorola and Dlink and has led several DSP and Embedded product development projects. Currently in Valeo, he is leading software and systems teams to develop safety critical surround view systems and related applications for multiple OEMs.

Khushwant has 13 years of experience in Embedded Solutions. He joined ETAS India in 2013 in western region. Since 2016, he is responsible for Cybersecurity Solutions across India with primary focus on Automotive.
Previously, Khushwant worked with Patni Computer Systems UK as regional sales manager and handled embedded solutions clients in Europe.
Khushwant has a Bachelor degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering. Later he pursued an MBA with specialization in high-tech businesses. He briefly worked with France Telecom on a business consulting assignment.
Deepu Chandran
Deepu Chandran

Deepu Chandran, Technical Manager, LDRA Technology Pvt. Ltd.

Deepu Chandran is a Technical Manager with LDRA’s India office. He did his Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications from VTU and started his career as an Embedded developer at Quest Innovative Solutions and later moved to Trident Infosol as an FAE where has got an opportunity to work with defence and aerospace customers in integrating the development tools, debuggers and testing tools in embedded domain. With this experience, he joined LDRA and specialised in the development, integration and certification of mission- and safety-critical systems in avionics, nuclear, industrial safety and security.
With his high-level programming and related technical skills, he is involved in technical consulting for various domains and has been actively delivering training courses to customers on various technologies like Software testing methodologies, Building Secure Software/Systems, Verification and Validation, as well as process standards like DO 178B/C, IEEE 12207-2008/2015 to name a few.
He is active in researching Security arena and his paper on “Building Secure Embedded software” is published in international journals and he is active in presenting papers on Verification and Validation of Secure and Safe Embedded Systems.
For more than 10 years he is supporting clients in selecting, integrating, and supporting their embedded systems from requirements, development through certification.

He did his MBA in Marketing from Christ Bengaluru and B.Tech in Computer Science from Kerala University. With over 20 years of experience in handling Embedded Software Life Cycle solutions, he has built many teams and companies in the embedded systems field. Working with cross border delivery teams, technology partners and Industry regulators in the defense, aerospace, automotive, industrial, medical, rail and nuclear sectors are his unique advantage. Today he concentrates on creating a healthy ecosystem in the mission, security and safety critical systems domain in South East Asia.
He has presented many papers in both industry and academic forums. He is also an organizer of many international technology conferences and active member in several industry & professional bodies and work very closely with several govt. bodies and safety & security regulatory organizations.

Pradeep Oak is a Founder Director & CEO of Oak Systems – a specialist Software IV&V and Testing Company. Pradeep has over 26 years of experience in the software industry. Pradeep started his professional career with TCS as a software developer, designer and then project leader. Later, at Index Computing he was responsible for streamlining QC activities as a Quality Controller. Pradeep is among the first 20 CQA’s in India. With a background in software development and flair for software quality, Pradeep consulted with HP towards its CMM L5 achievement. Pradeep has been an active teacher delivering lectures on Software Engineering, Software QA, DO-178B, Testing and Project Management topics at conferences, workshops and seminars. He has also authored a book on Software Testing published by McGraw Hill.
